Coming Up Week of April 2, 2007

With this second installment of the Transit TV Sneak Peeks there are some oldies but goodies.

The Clever Cleaver Brothers are not new to Transit TV, but the shows always are. The "Clevers" have not repeated a recipe yet - and this week a particularly fun recipe is Beer Belly Chicken Strips, and all I can tease you with is their costumes are nothing like you have seen with the Brothers before -- you will laugh, snicker or groan with your own belly....

Planet X this week has a very cool segment with an extreme motorized "BushPIG" This is like a mini motorcycle skateboard that you ride with your feet. I have never seen one of these in person but it looks like it would be pretty cool to ride, check out the segment this week, and see if its cool to try like your daddies segway but limited to the fringe in transport.

Weekend Explorer never fails in providing for amazing locations and cinematography, and always makes us wonder how long the line is for a job that would take you to those locations. One of the more interesting segments this week is the one on Glacier National Park in Montana. The park was created in 1910 and Weekend Explorer provides a stunning glimpse into what a vacation to that park would be like.

American Latino has a great segment on Spanish Hip Hop artist Vico C -The Brooklyn born musician grew up in Puerto Rico where he honed his craft. American Latino does what is does best by providing a great overview intermixed with footage of Vico C and clips of his music.

That is it for Sneak Peeks this week, feel free to add your comments to the blog and let me know what you want to know more about.

Coming Up Week of March 26, 2007

Welcome to the first ever Transit TV Media Sneak Peaks, in this Blog I hope to provide a bit of a sneak peak on what is going to be playing on Transit TV. Without further ado...

DVD Geeks is a very new show to Transit TV that plays 4 days a week. The Geeks review brand new DVD releases and on Friday will be reviewing Jigoku a Japanese classic horror film, directed by
Nobuo Nakagawa a very famous Japanese Director. The Geeks talk all about the great features of the DVD.

Expanded Books has a review of a great Ghost story called the "Dead Fathers Club" the author Matt Haig talks all about his new book.

One of the more cool things next week is a segment from Discoveries and Breakthroughs in Science that shows the board game of the future and for those of you that love gadgets... this is a huge screen mounted in a game table that you can touch to move the game pieces! I want one.

Finally, Uncharted started 2 weeks ago and is a video road trip that follows young musicians going across the US playing music and documenting their adventures. This week SONia travels the Mid Atlantic states playing music and trying to discover life and adventure.
